The Chance Project provides backpacks and school supplies to schools across central Indiana in order to help students thrive in education despite economic disadvantages that they may face. 20 percent of children in Indiana are living in poverty. Each day in schools throughout the state, children of all ages attend school without the most basic school supplies due to the financial struggles their families face. Every student deserves the chance to start the school year with the tools necessary to be successful in the classroom, be excited about learning and reach their full potential.
